Web Page Assessment
Complete and have your teacher grade Part A before starting Part B.
PART A REQUIREMENTS:
___ 10 pts/ At least two separate web pages.
___ 5 pts/ Each page should have an appropriate and descriptive heading
___ 5 pts/ Each page has an appropriate and descriptive title
___ 5 pts/ Each page has some text describing your topic - spelling and grammar count!!
___ 10 pts/ At least 2 images with appropriate file size (less than 25k)
___ 10 pts/ One image must be a thumbnail with a link to a larger version of the image. The larger version must show up in its OWN popup window.
___ 5 pts/Your Navbar needs at least 2 links that are related to your topic.
___5 pts/ Your Navbar needs a link to your second page (and back).
___5 pts/ Your Navbar needs a link to the FD Tech Homepage and the FD page.
___10 pts/ Backgrounds or other highlighting feature – at least one section designed in Fireworks.
___10 pts/Page is easy to read and follow. Text is reasy to read and doesn't blend into the background.
___5 pts/ Your Navbar needs a link to your Flash Project. The content in your Flash project should be appropriate and should be related to your web page.
___10 pts/ Your Navbar needs to have a link that goes to your friend's web page. You need to pick three friends and you need to use the image swap feature.
___5 pts/ Behavior met classroom expectations.
100 points TOTAL
PART B REQUIREMENTS:
(Remember - do not start Part B until Part A is graded).
___95 pts/ You need to pick and complete FIVE of the following bells and whistles:
-- Create and link a garage band song to your web page.
-- Create a movie using the program Snap Pro Z and build a link to it off of your web page. It should explain to the user how to do something that is related to your topic.
-- Create buttons.
-- Create an image roll over.
-- Create an animated gif.
-- Add a counter to your web page.
-- Create a pop up menu on your web page.
-- Add an image in front of your URL.
-- Add an appropriate Popup Message.
-- Add an appropriate Playlist.
-- Add an appropriate Animoto slideshow.
--Add "word cloud" to your web page using only appropriate words.
--Add a comic strip to your web page - everything in the comic strip is appropriate.
