Digital Storytelling
Digital Storytelling
Through the generous support of the Association of Alaska School Boards and the Juneau School District, Glacier Valley teamed with Alysia McLain from the Juneau Douglas City Museum to offer a 10-week Digital Storytelling club for fifteen 4th & 5th graders this past fall and upcoming spring semesters.
To help support the club, nine Glacier Valley staff members took a Digital Storytelling course with Alysia and created their own digital stories. With their permission, we are pleased to share and celebrate both staff and student stories.
Thank you Association of Alaska School Boards, Juneau Douglas City Museum and Juneau School District for your support of this project.

Check out our GV Digital Storytelling wiki! It lists resources to support the digital storytelling process and provides a protected space for students to write, share and comment on each other’s scripts when the club is in session.
