The goal of the Alaska Pipers Club is to promote uilleann piping in the state. We have weekly meetings in the winter. As far as we know all currently active uilleann pipers in Alaska live in Juneau, which because of our more favorable climate is probably not a coincidence.

We don't take ourselves all that seriously, but all of us spend a vast amounts of our spare time piping and trying to keep the reeds going. We clearly share "the affliction" (to quote Al Purcell). So... we thought we'd make it official and form a club.
