Mathematics
All of the houses provide
instruction in a uniform format for mathematics.
Sixth: Secondary Mathematics I
Seventh: Secondary Mathematics II
Eighth: Secondary Mathematics III
Some students are accelerated to the math level above their actual grade level.
Acceleration is based on extended learning status and classroom assessments conducted
early in the school year. Acceleration can happen at any point in the three
year experience, and is based on the skills and knowledge the student has as
determined by assessments and maturity to handle the increased homework and
classroom content.
Acclelerated students will have the following sequence:
Sixth: Secondary Mathematics II
Seventh: Secondary Mathematics III
Eighth: Algebra I
