Dimond-Mears Jr.-Sr. High School
		I attended Mears Junior High School/Dimond High School, in Anchorage, Alaska, from 1972-1979. Fortunately, I do not remember much from junior high school, but I have relatively fond memories from my high school years. In addition to my studies, I was also active in student government, band, cross-country running and skiing, and drama.
	I attended my twenty year reunion in the summer of 1999.
	The building was built thirty years ago, and featured breezeways between a score of buildings. This design works great in California, but in chilly Anchorage it was just foolish. The building is slated to be demolished and replaced with a new building in the next few years.
